KNIT IT - HOOK IT - CRAFT IT
Entomology Pins (size 2) - in packs of approximately 100
Whether you are a knitter, crocheter or sewer, you will love these pins. They may be thin but they are extremely sturdy!
If like me, you are a firm believer in blocking your work, you know the importance of using the right pins to block with.
I have tried many pins of late and think that the three options available through KNIT IT - HOOK IT - CRAFT IT are as good as it gets. Here you can see the Entomology Pins but I also have Lace Pins and Toilet Pins (nicer than they sound) available so please look at the other listings to see what suits your requirements. These pins did not bend when I used them, unlike other cheaper versions that are readily available.
Using the Entomology Pins
These pins are sturdy enough to tackle most blocking jobs, however, they are so thin that they are absolutely ideal for blocking lace work. If you check the photos you will see a white, 100% silk knitted sample that I blocked using these pins. No pin holes were left, there was no discolouration to the fabric.
Another benefit of these pins, is that they pull out easily because they don't have a large plastic star or flower head on them. It is easy to pull out pin, after pin, after pin, with two fingers and speed up the job of taking your item off the blocks.
They even come in a handy little box for storage.

Postage and Packaging
The P&P costs applied are very transparent. No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage. I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods. I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretense of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
