Kitchener stitch reckoner - made in UK

A simple Kitchener Stitch Reckoner that can be popped into you notions pouch.  Kitchener Stitch is one of those things that baffles a lot of people.  To help overcome this, I wanted to design something that could be carried around in a notions pouch or project bag and was easy to refere to.

People learn in different ways and so one side has written instructions and the other shows the repeat instructions as a diagram.

The Kitchener Stitch Reckoner is made from the centre part of the small tension gauge that I sell.  I don't like wastage and so to make use of the 5cm x 5cm square that was left over, I designed this notion.

I have attached a ribbon (made in Cheshire) so that the reckoner can easily be attached to your sock project bag handles and taken off again.

Kitchener Stitch Reckoner dimensions

Approximately 5cm long by 5cm wide and 0.3cm deep.

Any weights given are approximated to provide a best estimate for postage and packaging costs only.

Product materials, sourcing and PoM Rating

This product was originated by me at KNIT IT - HOOK IT- CRAFT IT. The birch wood used in the tension squares and needle/hook gauges is from Russia and is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The sheets of wood are laser cut and engraved by Helen in her workshop in Lancashire before the final items comes back to me, near Sandbach in Cheshire, for bundling and posting out to customers.

Postage and Packaging

The P&P costs applied are very transparent.  No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage.  I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods.  I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretense of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
